anyway! so yeah, our formal-theme day started off with the providence of a free lunch during youth service. we all skipped the usual mamak routine and was expecting a fine-dining experience but little did we know, miss FOO-CHUK and her accomplice, kaweng de space monkey, has schemed an otherwise plan.
we were first served with corn. unsalted, unbuttered.just plain, barely steamed corn.haha! i guess it tasted pretty alright for i was starving. so i ate that poor pathetic lil corn with hopes of a better dish to come.
ah! but to my dismay, garlic rice greeted my plate. smelled nice tho :D tasted normal. its rice la, how nice can it taste anyway? XD then, for 'dessert'.. we had.. urgh! sweet potatoes! yeaps! well, it made me full alright! haha!
that was the simplest lunch i'd ever had in.. well, ever! the lesson learnt from this was: that food is not a form of indulgence or choice or abundance or convenience to some and the very basic luncheon was sorta like an appreciation and commemoration to those strike with poverty and hunger.after which the lesson was learnt, we played games! kinda fun, kinda boring.. involved lots of balloons, fruit loops and music ;D here's de youth group plus some new faces; all dressed to impress!
after youth and later in the evening, a young adults gathering was held at pastor sean's hse where thankfully, REAL food was served! played more games (sigh!) and then, camwhored around the lovely, english-inspired hse :D
look! giant swedish clogs! there was even a mock fireplace in the living room ;D i simply couldnt stop messing around with everything else. i'm such a jungle.

yay! family portrait! mom, dad and their 3 lovely daughters, 1 dungu-fied son and a retarted big baby :D so yeah, a long sunday spent with the same peeps. ah, the same peeps that sabo-ed me in honour of my bday earlier this year by smashing my face into a pie of vanilla cream. sigh! recently, fharyl uploaded the video and the main culprit is.. none other than kaweng the space monkey! here, lookie at the still images i captured from the vid:
yes. thats freakin cream on my pretty face alright! what a huge muck! it went into my nostrils and everything too! am. so. mad! youths these days. sigh!so yeah, i need to grow up. considers the day where i might just leave this group. oh. but first! i need to get back at that space monkey! grrr!
