bus. train. taxi. tram. plane. name me any mod mode of transportation and i'll tell you i've been on it this month! me like actually :D the sensation of moving, the sound of the engine, wheels and what not. its a feeling of lightness and though thoughts do run wild occasionally, its still better than being stagnant.
ah, but then. it would somehow or rather come to a stop. the jam, the stop at Jakarta, the banter with the pedals before reaching the toll gate, the transits, the wait. THEN, things start to turn ugly in my head. i just don't possess the patience to bloody wait i guess. but obviously, i need to get some, or else i'd go bald from ripping my (already thinning) hair off with annoyance towards the wait for TWO buses and ONE taxi that gets me to work, and the THREE buses that get me back to cyber. i leave as the sun rise and come home as the sun sets. pretty pathetic huh? it would be less pathetic with all that stagnant, waiting periods i tell you! :P
anyway, i'm sure some people are dying to know how my melbourne trip went. well, for starters: it. was. COOL! literally! summer in melbourne is like genting when its drizzling. so freakin COLD my goodness! and me being the dungu, went and packed SUMMER CLOTHES. sigh. i seriously did not expect that. places i visited: the city, rmit, st. kilda, vic market, yarra river, dandenong as well as another beach, another river and another market, all off the city. LOL! i guess the highlight was def the wild parrot feeding at the dandenongs:
yeap, those feathery pests were all over the place once we opened a bag full of sunflower seeds. there were the least shy and flocked all over us. it was amazing, YET painful! lol, those little things have claws as sharp as razors i tell you! and when they grip, oooohh. that's when you really feel the pain man. nonetheless, still awesome fun :D and! and! lookie here at another bird that decided to drop by:

"kookaburra sits in the old gum tree; merry, merry king of the bush is he. laugh, kookaburra! laugh, kookaburra! gay your life must be." i use to be addicted to this song back when i was 7! lol, it was on Barney :P i think i even did a performance of this song once at bday party. bahahaha!
ah, and the forest in Aussie is SO different from malaysia's muddy-terrain of a jungle, where ants and leeches mingle. in Aus, trees are tall, the ground is dry, the wind is super strong and pweety birds are everywhere if you're lucky ;D
actually, we spent more time in the city than visiting jungles and animals. there's a picture of St. Patricks Cathedral. i guess the spots for nature enthusiasts are located at a diff part of Aus, which i'd LOVE to visit in de future :D and oh, DID YOU KNOW: Australia is actually a very BIG country. it looks puny on the map buh nuu, this land down under is mega-huge!
see what i mean? ah well, i'd surely miss the COLD weather. and the OPP SHOPS & FLEE MARKETS! had some good buys :D cardis for $1.50! office shirts for $4, boots for $20! lol. should have bought more, more, more! but alas, was kinda watching my budget. ah well. but boy, did i stacked on tim tams, marsmallows, brownies and yummy cabonara pastas! couldn't stop eating!
but now i'm back in the land down asia. started my internship last week. ah, the long bus rides is killing me but like i said: its a test to develop my patience. EEK! dec will be a rather busy month.. with minor events from my internship company, christmas events at sbux (YES, i'm STILL working there :P) and not forgetting church stuff. will be taking up more responsibilities next year *wink*. i guess being busy isnt half as bad as being plain ol' stagnant.
now, if only i had a CAR..
