i don't like waiting. but it isn't so bad sometimes. few more minutes before the sun's up. two more weeks before my boyfriend gets back. nine more days before assignments are due. one more year till i graduate. four more minutes before the alarm goes off and life pours back into this dull neighbourhood. will be serving coffee to early risers in a couple of hours, wishing i was still in bed. waiting.
after i got back, mom bought a cake and all i did was blow the candles! simple act that everyone should do, at least once a year! ;)
later on the same day: had a little dinner outing with the besties - nisha, kavi and alison. went to chilli's. gorged on cheesy nachos, fajitas and awesomess cheeseburgers. *drools*. nisha got me a cool photo frame, with even cooler pictures accompanying it:

its sorta like a saree but without the wrap-around. pretty awesome! but i don't know where i'd be able to wear it to. anyone getting married soon? :P teehee! alison got me a pweety necklace but i secretly wanted her hat:
haha! just kidding la! me loves de necklace; come bracelet as seen on my wrist above :D well, after stuffing ourselves, we hopped on over to häagen-dazs for some fondue time!
i've always wanted to try their famous fondue set and honestly, it wasn't that great but i guess i was still bloated from chilli's, that's all. ok actually, i never really liked their ice-cream to begin with.. prefer baskin robbins and ben & jerry's! ;) anyhoo, still fun.. btw, kavi sucked at fondue-ing. she kept messing up the whole set!! lmao.
so that's that. no clubs, still no booze but lotsa bitching! teehee ;) oh oh! but i got some birthday splash BASH last sunday during youth service. i'd rather not discuss about how freaking blur i was but here's what happened in the end: i was drenched! i don't know how many pails of water were used but my sister was to blame for masterminding the entire charade! i was so BLIND, literally! they actually got me to be blindfolded and led down the stairs into the outdoors. how much more blind can i be?! sigh. am awaiting for the pictures to be uploaded on facebook ;D
MACAROONS! got myself four pieces ;D pistachio, rose, hazelnut and chocolate. honestly, i was madly craving for some ok? like some pregnant woman i was crazy enough to travel so far just to get some! originally i wanted to try the best of the best and well, from many days of just staring at them on the screen, i decided to try out that of Canele Patisserie's in raffles shopping centre but mana tau - CLOSED. ah its ok, it would have been too expensive anyway ($2.50 for one, gasp!). i got mine at Bakerzin instead:
$1.50 for one. ok ok, before you shoot at me for spending so much on that tiny little thing; i tell you - it was worth it! sorta. i mean, it was tasteful la! and apparently hard to make. why?
because it's hard and sorta crunchy on the outside and soft and chewy in the inside! plus that sugary filling gets me oh-so-high! :D and eeks, i heard there's a Bakerzin somewhere in KL or Bangsar. i am SO going there one day!
so here i am, 21. an adult. what now?
